PTA Meeting Minutes:
Track/Playfield Upgrade
We’re looking at improving the school’s
track and field area. We’d like to improve the play field
and create a track where our kids can safely play
soccer, baseball, run, walk or ride their bikes around a
track both during and after school.
Objective: Improve the condition of the playfield, create a 6’ wide track for the students and commu- nity to utilize. Provide a safe playfield, create a track on the outside of the field where students can ride their bikes, run or walk using recycled materi- als.
Funding: The PTA applied for a Lowe’s Grant in the fall to offset the cost of the field upgrade. If we do not get the grant, there are other grants we can apply for in January. We will also be discussing al- ternate funding options in the committee meetings
to come.
Future Needs: Donate Seed (reseed the field), Top Soil, Heavy Equipment (back loader/digger), Volun- teer help in June and July
Information: Meetings will start in January to build the committee to organize this project. Updates will be in the PTA Monthly Newsletter, on the web- site and on facebook.

When you become a member of the PTA, you become a positive influence on your school and community. Our PTA works very hard to facilitate and fund various projects, scholarships, events, assemblies and supplies that are needed throughout the school year to add value to your child’s education and experience!
We invite you to join in any capacity that suits you ~ donate, volunteer, chair an event or become a board member. $10 per person, $18 per couple.
If all you can do is attend the meetings, you will see that your voice could have a huge impact on your child's education and experiences at our school. We meet the first Tuesday of each month, 6:30 - 7:30 in our library.
Our PTA is a low key, non-judgmental, and very productive group of individuals who enjoy having fun while improving our kids education!!!
Remember, the PTA is the best way to learn what is going on at your child's school!!!
